How it works

From an empty week to a full trolley in three steps

No spreadsheets, no Sunday afternoon lost to “so what are we eating this week?”.

  1. 01

Tell Cestio how you actually eat

Your supermarket, your weekly budget, your diets and allergies, how long you want to cook, which appliances you own, and the foods you never want to see again.

  2. 02

Get 21 meals for the week

Breakfast, lunch and dinner for seven days — each with a recipe, cook time, calories and a photo. Don't fancy Thursday's dinner? Regenerate that one meal and keep the rest.

  3. 03

Shop it in a single trip

The plan becomes a shopping list grouped by aisle with an estimated total, shared live with your household so nobody buys the milk twice.

Everything in one app

Plan it, shop it, cook it, log it

Weekly plans built for you

21 meals a week chosen for your taste, your time and your budget — not a template everyone else gets.

Aisle-sorted shopping list

Every ingredient in your week, consolidated into one list grouped by supermarket section, with a running cost estimate.

Shared with your household

Invite your partner or family with one link, assign items to each other, and they get a push: “Can you buy the eggs?”

Fridge Chef

Photograph what's in your fridge and get recipes you can cook right now with what's already there.

Calorie Snap

Snap your plate and get calories and macros in seconds. No weighing, no searching a database, no barcode hunting.

Diets and allergies, respected

Combine vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, low carb, diabetes friendly and more. Allergies are never put on your plate.

🗓️ Your weekly plan

A plan made for you, not a template.

Cestio knows you shop at Lidl, that you have €70 for the week, that you cook in 30 minutes, that you own an air fryer and no oven, that you're gluten free and that you cannot stand aubergine. Then it plans 21 meals inside all of that.

  • 21 meals a week, each with recipe, cook time and calories
  • Regenerate a single meal without losing the rest of the week
  • Serving sizes scaled to your household

🛒 Shopping list

One list. One trip. Everyone in the loop.

Every ingredient across 21 meals gets consolidated into a single list, grouped by supermarket section so you walk the shop once. Your household sees the same list live, and you can hand an item to someone else.

  • Grouped by aisle: fruit & veg, dairy, freezer, cupboard…
  • Running estimated total as you tick items off
  • Assign an item and they get a “Can you buy the eggs?” push
  • Add anything else — “bread, milk x2, batteries” — in one line

📸 Fridge Chef

Snap your fridge. Cook it tonight.

Half a courgette, three eggs and some feta. Point your camera at the shelf and Cestio comes back with recipes you can actually make right now — adapted to your diet and the appliances you own.

  • Recipes from what you already own, not a shopping trip
  • Great for the Thursday-night leftovers problem
  • Respects the same diets and allergies as your plan

🔥 Calorie Snap

Calories, without the data entry.

Photograph your plate and Cestio estimates calories and macros in a few seconds, against your daily goal. No weighing scale, no scrolling a database of 400 kinds of chicken breast.

  • Calories plus protein, carbs and fat from one photo
  • Daily progress bar and a history you can edit
  • Meant for awareness, not clinical precision

Built for where you live

Most meal planners are built for one country. Cestio isn't.

Your plan is priced in your currency, built around chains that exist on your street, and written in your language — recipes and shopping list included, not just the menus.

Questions, answered

What exactly does Cestio do?
Cestio is an AI meal planner. You answer a short set-up — supermarket, weekly budget, diets, allergies, cooking time, appliances, likes and dislikes — and it generates a full week of 21 meals with recipes, then turns those recipes into one shopping list grouped by supermarket aisle and shared with your household.
Is Cestio free?
Cestio starts with a 3-day free trial. After that it is $6.99 per week or $39.99 per year. There is no permanently free tier: generating plans, recipes and photo analysis runs on AI models that cost money on every request, and a subscription is what keeps the app free of ads and of ingredient sponsorships.
Which supermarkets does Cestio support?
Cestio ships with the main supermarket chains for Spain, the UK, the US, Germany, France, Italy, Portugal, Canada, Australia and Greece — Mercadona, Tesco, Aldi, Lidl, Rewe, Carrefour, Walmart, Continente, Woolworths and more. If your country or store isn't in the list you can type it in, and Cestio plans around it.
How accurate are the price and calorie estimates?
They are estimates, not receipts. Prices are modelled from typical costs in your country and currency, and calories are estimated from the recipe or from the photo you take. Use them to stay roughly on track, not as clinical or accounting figures.
Can I use Cestio with my partner or family?
Yes — that's what the household feature is for. One person creates the household and shares a link; everyone then sees the same plan and the same shopping list in real time, and items can be assigned to a specific person, who gets a push notification.
What languages is Cestio available in?
Cestio is fully translated into 7 languages: English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, German, Italian, Greek. Recipes, meal names and the shopping list are all localised, not just the buttons.
Does Cestio replace a calorie counting app?
For most people, yes. Calorie Snap logs a meal from a photo with calories and macros against a daily goal. What Cestio does not try to be is a full weight-loss coaching product with fasting timers, body measurements and a barcode database — its centre of gravity is planning the week and shopping for it.
Is Cestio on Android?
Not yet. Cestio is currently an iPhone and iPad app on the App Store; an Android version is in the works.
